Aus dem Wunsch, Personalgespräche zu üben, ist XARA entstanden: Ein einsatzfähiges Produkt, das Gespräche in virtuellen Umgebungen realitätsnah simuliert. Mit der Webplattform XARA konnten wir individuell gestaltete Gesprächsszenarien zum Thema Rekrutierung, Konflikt und Kündigung anlegen. Die Dialoge bewegen sich im Rahmen der Szenarien – passen sich aber dynamisch an den Gesprächsverlauf an. Mit XARA schaffen wir ein weiteres Weiterbildungsangebot an der Universität St. Gallen. Parallel dazu forschen wir im Rahmen einer Studie zum Erlernen von Kommunikationsfähigkeiten mit XARA in virtuellen Umgebungen.
